Examinations

  • Every Semester having two different slot / internal examinations
  • At the end of each semester, there shall be an examination (here-in-after called end-semester examination) conducted by the University as per the program announced by the Controller of Examinations.
  • Back paper examinations, if any, shall be held with the normal end-semester examination. There shall be no separate supplementary examination.
  • Teacher (s) associated with the teaching of the subject or course item will be responsible for all aspects of teaching and evaluation of the course in addition to setting of questions for the end-semester examinations.
  • The provision of Post-Publication-Review and Post-Publication-Scrutiny shall be available to the students of B.Pharm degree program.

Evaluation:

  • Course work: The evaluation of course items of the course work shall be done as per the following guidelines:
  • Theory Items: each item under this classification shall be evaluated on the basis of 100 percentage points, subdivided into the following four categories:
  • End-semester examination                              : 70 points
  • Course test/ class test and Assignment           : 20 points
  • Attendance                                                     : 10 points
  • Laboratory Items: each item under this classification shall be evaluated on the basis of 100 percentage points on the basis of a continuous evaluation.
  • Seminar/sessional Items: each item under this classification shall be evaluated on the basis of 100 percentage points on the basis of a continuous evaluation.
